Join the Student Council and the Bountiful Food Pantry in our drive to tackle hunger!

FAQ-
Can a student bring another grade assigned item and have it still count for their grade?
YES- We will keep track of the number of items per grade level, not what was donated. (Assignments are made to ensure we get an even amount of items to make as many packs as possible.)

Does it have to be the Easy Mac?
YES- In order to fit all the items in a single, quart sized bag, it must be the Easy Mac (no cups, no boxes).

Can I donate money and have it counted toward the contest?
YES- Each dollar donated will count as 1 item.

Can I still donate after the last day?
YES- The food drive officially ends on the 6th of February. However, student council will not be assembling the packs until the 20th.

Thank you for your support! Go Cougars!

2025 Cook Cougars Student Council Christmas Assembly
Today is our annual school sing-along! Each year we sing "Christmas is Upon Us" and each grade level has a verse to sing (yell) after the chorus. Can't understand the words when the students are singing/yelling? Well, these awesome staff members created a fun video to teach the song! Enjoy!! https://youtu.be/ZZjdNk71t1U

Cook Cougar Community,

Here are the 3 things to know for the week of Dec 1st, 2025:
1) We have our PTA Meeting this Friday Dec 5th at 9:15 a.m. in the SIPPS room. All parents are welcome to attend.

2) On Monday we have an assembly to celebrate our Reflections Art entries and announce the students' awards. We will also announce the yearbook cover winner. Then the Syracuse Madrigals will be performing for our school. We love getting to celebrate students!

3) Our kindness challenge this month is to collect clothing to donate to SAVERS in Ogden. Not only does the clothing go to people in need, but we also receive money back from SAVERS to support our school and students. If you are getting rid of the clothes you no longer need, we would love to add them to our clothing drive. Send them in a bag with your student or drop them off at any time. Multiple bags – no problem! We will even help you unload if needed. 😊

These 3 things are meant to be a quick snapshot of information to keep you informed of the happenings here at Cook Elementary.

A more detailed calendar for the week can be found on our school website calendar or our newsletter that comes out every 2 weeks on Friday. You can also view the PTA calendar.
