A Mental Health Screening for Youth who are preschool and elementary age is scheduled for Tuesday, October 29th from 4-7 PM at Davis Behavioral Health. Have a safe and relaxing Fall Break! There will be no school on October 17 and 18 for Fall Break. There will be no school for students on October 21 for a Professional Day for teachers. Report cards will be available on mydsd on October 25. School will resume with the first day of 2nd Term on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.

Our first term ends this week. We're proud of our students for working hard and advancing in their learning. We are very lucky to have so many amazing Cook Cougars who make our school a better place every day. We'll follow the early-out schedule on Wednesday. Have a wonderful Fall Break on Thursday and Friday ~ the school will be closed. Next Monday, students will not attend school. This is a professional day for our teachers to prepare for 2nd term. Today is the last day to preregister for the PTA Paint Night. Come join us tomorrow night for a fun family event! All proceeds will help the PTA provide such activities and events as birthday table, book give-away, field trips, ribbon week activities, Teacher Appreciation week, Field Day, and more!

Guardians can begin scheduling Parent Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, September 18th. The online scheduler will be available until September 25th. Please schedule your appointment now to find the time that works best for you and your student. To schedule an appointment, guardians need to go through their mydsd account.
