We are thrilled to announce that our own Viewmont teacher and coach, Andru Jones, has been honored as the Davis School District Teacher of the Year!
This prestigious recognition underscores his dedication and passion for teaching, as well as his significant impact on the lives of his students and the community. We are so lucky he is a part of Viking Nation!
“He’s a gifted leader, and he’s got a great mind for strategy,” Superintendent Dr. Dan Linford said. “But, he’s a humble, sweet, lifelong learner, and we love that about this man.”
In celebration of this remarkable achievement, Andru was surprised with an incredible gift— a car giveaway courtesy of Young Kia. The entire school community came together to support Andru and celebrate his outstanding contributions.
