Davis School District is excited to announce its First Annual Film Festival, giving students a chance to showcase their creativity, storytelling, and filmmaking talents.
Students are invited to submit their original films for consideration in this new district-wide event. The festival is designed to celebrate student voices and highlight the many ways film can be used to inspire, entertain, and communicate meaningful ideas.
Submission deadline: April 6 at 11:45 p.m.
Selected films will be featured during the festival screening on April 20 at 7:00 p.m.
This is a great opportunity for students interested in video production, writing, directing, editing, or visual storytelling to share their work with the school community. Whether the project is dramatic, funny, thought-provoking, or experimental, all student filmmakers are encouraged to participate.
Additional submission information is available through the festival QR code featured on the official event poster.
The district looks forward to recognizing the imagination and hard work of student creators at this inaugural event and hopes the Film Festival will become a lasting tradition for the Davis school community.
