Promotional graphic with a light gray background and faint bubble illustrations. Large blue text at the top reads “Bubble Assembly.” On the left, dark blue text says, “1 in 5 kids in Utah are food insecure, meaning that they don’t know where their next meal is coming.” On the right, large yellow text reads, “Let’s Change That!”

On April 8 during Viking Academy, Viewmont students will come together for the Bubble Assembly, an event focused on raising awareness about an issue that affects families both across Utah and in our own community. According to the event flyer, nearly 1 in 5 kids in Utah are food insecure, meaning they may not know where their next meal is coming from.

Why it matters

This cause hits especially close to home. The flyer explains that Viewmont and its feeder schools currently have more than $30,000 in school lunch debt. That means many students and families in our area are facing real challenges, and our school community has a chance to help.

How you can help

The Bubble Assembly is more than just an event. It is a chance for Vikings to come together, show compassion, and support one another. Students and families can help by donating or by raising awareness about food insecurity in our local area. A QR code on the flyer makes it easy for anyone who would like to contribute directly.

Stronger together

Every donation, every conversation, and every act of kindness can make a difference. We are proud of the way the Viewmont community continues to step up for others. Let’s make this Bubble Assembly a meaningful moment of service, support, and school pride.
