Welcome Back, Vikings!

We're excited to kick off another great school year! School begins Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. The first two days will be full school days with a modified bell schedule for Viking Academy (Advisory). Bell schedules are available on our website.

Back-to-School Checklist

✅ Step 1: Review Back-to-School Information

Visit our Registration/Enrollment page to review important dates, school information, and resources for the new school year.

✅ Step 2: Pay Fees

Log in to myDSD using your Guardian Account to:

• Pay optional fees (Don't forget the Student Activity Card!)

• Apply for a Fee Waiver (if eligible)

• Complete the Free & Reduced Lunch application (available August 1)

✅ Step 3: Sign Required Documents

In myDSD, go to Tools > Sign Documents and review all required policy documents. If your family's contact information (email, address, phone number) has changed, please contact the Counseling Office to update your records.

Don't Forget!

• 📘 Yearbooks – $52 through November 1, then $57.

• 🚗 Parking Passes – On sale August 3. Fill out the form online HERE.

• 🎓 Sophomore Orientation – August 17, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

• 📸 School Pictures – August 24–25 in English classes (makeup day: Sept. 23).

• 💻 Device Protection Plan – Optional coverage available through September 4.

• 🔒 Lockers – Available at no cost through the Main Office.
